Sorry, we’re closed today

Sometimes, I publish an article that was prepared days or weeks in advance. Other times, I’m at my computer the night before, putting the finishing touches on something. Often, it’s just hours before the deadline. But I just didn’t have it in me to write, edit, or even resize photos for the usual Friday “Commute by Bike!” article. For the past 30+ years, I’ve been a fan of Chris Cornell’s music. He had an incredible voice, and his innovative songwriting gave his music a distinctive, yet familiar sound. No matter who he was performing with, you could hear his influence. It’s been a long week already, and his death has taken the wind out of my sails. I hope he’s found peace. Here he is performing a song from one of my other favorite musicians.
