When Deuter sought to create a series of packs designed to perform for climbers it turned to the logical place for inspiration and ideas -climbers. Bernd Kullmann, a passionate climber, successful eight-thousander mountaineer and long-time Deuter CEO assembled a team of leading mountain guides and climbers to rethink every detail that makes a quality, comfortable and versatile series of packs for tackling vertical ascents. The result: The Gravity Series.
Built from the ground up, Deuter Gravity packs and accessories serve the diverse needs of sport, traditional, big wall and alpine climbers. The Gravity Series combines climbing-specific features with the performance, comfort and durability for which Deuter is known. The itinerant dirtbag will also appreciate the value brought by the team of designers while maintaining faithfulness to climbing‘s ethos.

The foundation of the line is the Gravity Haul 50, a big-wall hauler complete with a stowable back system to enable comfortable approaches and ensure snag-free hauls, while internal gear loops, daisy chains and circumferential zipper provide security and easy access to gear. The line also includes the Expedition 45, Rock & Roll 30, Motion, Pitch 12, a Rope Bag, a Rope Sheet and multiple sizes of chalk bags.
The Gravity Series answers the needs of climbers by delivering a full breadth of packs designed for cragging to tackling big walls and everything in between. Long approaches are now aided by Deuter‘s legendary carry comfort systems in the Expedition 45, while clever designs in the Rope Bag and Rope Sheet make moving from route to route on the same wall simple. In between, mullti-pitch climbers will take to the Rock&Roll 30 and Motion for the easy access to gear and carry comfort.
