As I was preparing this press release for publication, I could hear water running off my roof like someone left a garden hose turned on. Melting snow was splashing onto the still-frozen ground, and collecting at an alarming rate, creating a small pond in my backyard. If the temperature drops sufficiently low, I’ll wake up to my own private skating rink. What does this have to do with Flojos for women? Nothing. But I did spend most of my youth living in Thousand Oaks, the home base of Flojos, and if I wasn’t on a bicycle, I was probably chilling with friends at home or at the beach in a pair of original foam rubber Flojos. So I’m engaging in a bit of daydreaming about the sun (I just saw it a week or two ago) and thinking about the sound of waves crashing on the shore at Leo Carrillo beach.
